The Food Whisperers
The Food Whisperers was created by a husband and wife team born out of their experience unraveling their own family’s food sensitivities. Though seemingly healthy, each family member struggled with different and significant symptoms for years. At the time, they did not yet understand that food was at the root of what they were experiencing.
They sought answers everywhere. Doctors at world-renowned hospitals. Extensive allergy testing. Prescription medications, over-the-counter remedies, lotions, vitamins, and supplements. They tried restrictive diets as well. None of it brought lasting relief. More often than not, they were left frustrated, discouraged, and no closer to understanding the underlying causes of what was making them feel unwell.
Before creating The Food Whisperers, Mary was a successful author, spiritual coach, and practicing medium. Mike was a technology executive with a talent for solving complex problems. Both were deeply motivated to help their family feel better and committed to uncovering what was truly behind their symptoms.
By combining Mary’s profound connection to spiritual guidance with Mike’s research-driven approach, they were eventually led to recognize that food and hidden ingredients were at the root of their struggles. From there, they identified the specific foods and ingredients that were incompatible with each individual body and responsible for triggering symptoms. In their own unique way, they finally uncovered the answers their bodies needed to heal and thrive.
They overcame years of chronic suffering and silent struggle. Today, without medication, their entire family is in control of their food sensitivities and lives virtually symptom-free.
Through this experience, they realized they could help others who were struggling just as they once were. And so, The Food Whisperers was born.
Our Philosophy
For us, food is more than sustenance. It is a source of joy. From holiday feasts and cozy dinners at home, to nights out discovering new restaurants or the simple pleasure of burgers on the grill, these moments brighten our days.
Unfortunately, we’ve experienced firsthand how that joy can be lost when food sensitivities turn moments of enjoyment into hours or even days of discomfort and suffering.
Conquering food allergies and sensitivities does not have to mean a lifetime of deprivation or denial. We believe everyone can adopt a way of eating that brings joy to both their taste buds and their body, just as we did.
It starts with identifying the specific foods and hidden ingredients that are incompatible with your unique body and responsible for triggering unwanted symptoms. This goes beyond simply eating “healthy” (we did) or following one-size-fits-all elimination diets (we tried those, too).
